Is there a package for Visual Studio 2010 like packages.config for Visual Studio 2008?
I just finished the migration of a Windows CE project to the new Visual Studio 2010. I have a package of solutions that I want to deploy to multiple users. I used to have a packages.config file in the solution folder, and then a packages folder in the bin folder with an xml file inside.
I'm afraid to try that again for Visual Studio 2010. Is there an equivalent for Visual Studio 2010?

Maybe the (older) project output folder with it's created.depends/.vspscc/.netfx.x project.sln files will help you. You can add a target deployment build step to copy them to the output folder, they are XML files after all.
This is if you're creating a project with Project+Add New Item/Visual Studio 2010/Desktop Projects/Windows/C#/Windows Forms Application. If you have a C# solution with different projects, all projects can share a package, that's the.sln files.
If your older VS is to old and VS2010 you can try the new 2012 project templates.
There is the Portable Class Library which is a.Net 4.0 class library (.csproj) that can be deployed and copied.

If you use multiple projects in a solution, you can create a "Package" with Project+Add New Item/Visual Studio 2010/Other Project Types/Package, then that package becomes a "Dependency Package" and contains a single.wixproj file.
